This journal includes a vintage escutcheon from Warfiedl and Rohr, a Casket and funeral supply company founded in Baltimore in 1879. It is my last one! The piece, believed to date form the late Victorian era, is adapted with an amethyst gem crafted by a local Kansas City Jewlery maker.
